She started mixing deep house in 2005 as a sideline gig to looking after her two sons and working in finance. She’s found her groove in Minimal Techno with psychedelic and trippy influences. Perfectionism is key – from flawless mixing, to making use of current technology (she plays a DJ set off Traktor Scratch), to giving the crowd what’s right for the time and place. Having experienced electronic dance music on dance floors around the world since the early nineties, Emma X is dedicated to the journey: as in life, her set is a story of highs and lows; dark and light; reflection and connection.
